About Linkfield
We're a small studio in Lisbon that builds link-worthy assets and earns them coverage. Small on purpose โ the person you email is the person doing the work.
How Linkfield started
Linkfield grew out of a newsroom habit. Our founder, Mara Delgado, spent six years as an editor before moving into content strategy, and she kept noticing the same thing: the pitches that landed weren't the slickest, they were the ones that handed her something her readers would actually use. So she built a studio around that one idea โ make the asset good enough that the placement looks easy.
Today a compact team of writers, a data analyst and two outreach specialists work the same way. We've sent the pitch and we've been the editor deleting it, and that double perspective shapes every campaign we run.
What we hold to
- Real sites only. If a publication exists purely to sell links, we pass โ no matter how good the metrics look on paper. Our vetting checklist is on the blog.
- The asset earns the link. Every placement is something the host would have been glad to publish anyway. The link is a consequence of the work, not the point of it.
- Plain numbers. You see every URL, every site and every cost in one short report. No inflated dashboards, no vanity metrics dressed up as results.
The people
Outreach is led by Mara alongside a writer-analyst pair who handle research and quality control. We deliberately stay lean: we'd rather run twenty campaigns we're proud of than two hundred we can't stand behind. Linkfield is part of an independent network of small content and outreach studios, which lets us reach editors across more niches than our size would suggest.
Work with a studio, not a vendor
